Eric Mustard was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1983. Early in his senior year, Eric was hired by the Texas Historical Commission as an architectural consultant with the state-sponsored Main Street Project, assisting various tiny Texas towns in restoring their historic downtown buildings.
